Workouts for over spring break:

Workout 1: run for 5 minutes, walk for 2 minutes, repeat 4 times (28 minutes total) 

                  4 sprints of 20 seconds (rest 2 minutes between each) 

                  6 sprints of 10 seconds (rest 1 minute between each) 

                  Jog for 5 minutes as a cooldown, then stretch. 

Workout 2: Jog for 5 minutes as a warmup (rest 3 minutes). 

                   4 sprints of 60 seconds (rest 3 minutes between each) 

                   4 sprints of 30 seconds (rest 2 minutes between each) 

                   4 sprints of 15 seconds (rest 1 minute between each) 

                   Jog for 5 minutes as a cooldown, then stretch. 

Workout 3: run for 3 minutes, walk for 1 minute, repeat 8 times (32 minutes total) 

                   5 sprints of 15 seconds (rest 1 minute between each) 

                   5 sprints of 10 seconds (rest 1 minute between each) 

                   Jog for 5 minutes as a cooldown, then stretch. 

TRACK SCHEDULE:

Girls Practice:  Monday/Wednesday

Boys Practice:  Tuesday/Thursday

Track Attendance Policy:

If a track athlete misses 3 scheduled practice or meets, they will be removed from the team.  If you are in school, and are scheduled for practice, you are expected to be there.  Missing practice due to soreness, doctor/dentist appointments, birthday parties, and other sports are not excused absences.   

   Track Schedule 2025:

Not all runners attend every meet.  Coaches will let you know which meet you will attend. 

All meets start at 3:15 and end around 4:45.

28-Apr     Away New Hope
30-Apr     Away Log College
2-May   Picture Day- Wear Uniform
8-May    Away at Lenape (Tri meet with Holland and Lenape) 
9-May    Away Klinger 
12-May    Away Unami
14-May    Away Tamanend 
22-May    Away at CR South Track vs Holland (Select Runners Only) 
29-May    Away  CB East High School.  Select Runners Only.  Championship Meet.
