NMS Concert Band  

The Concert  Band performs at both the Winter and Spring concerts. There is no audition for this ensemble; students who would like to play in the Concert Band should attend the September sign-up meeting. The Concert Band rehearses every Monday and Friday during period 8. In addition to appearances at both the Winter and Spring concerts, members of the Concert Band (with superior rehearsal and concert attendance) have the opportunity to compete in Kutztown University's "Music in the Parks" Festival. 

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band is a select ensemble that competes in several events throughout the school year. An information meeting is held each September to distribute audition materials. The Jazz Band rehearses every Thursday morning, before school, from 7:30am until 8:00am Students perform at several concerts, festivals and competitions each year.

Drumline

The Drumline is open to students who would like to perform on marching percussion and/or mallet instruments by audition only. Students in the Drumline must also be active members of the Concert Band and have regular attendance in weekly instrumental lessons. Drumline students learn warm ups and a full production each year in preparation for the CR North Marching Band in high school.
