Emergency School Closing

In the event of a weather or district emergency, information regarding school closure or delays will be broadcast on local news channels and radio stations. Information will also be posted and routinely updated on the following:

School Calendar (Please subscribe, on the website, to the District Calendar and your child’s individual school calendar to receive all emergency information. Changes to a calendar day will be forwarded to a designation of your choice.)

The school district may also use the Global Connect System to contact parents and staff directly via phone.

Medallion School Closing Regulations are as follows:

If Council Rock is closed, Medallion is also closed.
If Council Rock has a 2 hour delay, Medallion is delayed 1 hour.
If Council Rock has a one hour delay, Medallion does not have a delay, they will open on time.
If Council Rock has an early dismissal, Medallion will begin at dismissal & operate for a maximum of 2 hours
